Studio and Event Space Calendar
If you are already one of our volunteers and have applied and been added to the view for this calendar you will now be able to see who is in and when. There are three sessions in every day to enable our daily reads to be recorded soon after publication and uploaded to the Sonata service.
Morning Recordings
Before 12 noon each day we must have downloaded the Herald scripts from their website and been in the studio and recorded and uploaded a minimum of 3,500 words from the paper.
We are waiting to gauge listeners reaction to us doing a straight read from the paper each morning. If we are to achieve this we will need at least four self teching presenters in every morning session to allow readers a break after an hour of live reading. Their being two Myriad studios and us being able to flick between each studio after half an hour of reading.
Afternoon Recordings
These sessions are where we read articles from the Scottish Sun every day and the Radio Times Scotland listings in this slot we would also aim to look at recording articles from our other general interest magazines. With two studios we need a minimum of two self teching presenters.
Evening Recordings
It appears that from around 2pm each day the Evening Times goes live on its website and we would ideally have recorded a minimum of 3,500 words and uploaded them no later than 7pm. To allow for slippage we would suggest that Evening Times readers come in after 4pm.

When opening this calendar it is advisable to right click and open as a separate page or tab on your browser. You will then need to sign in to hotmail. You no longer need to have your own hotmail account drop Alastair an email and he will give you the Cue and Review account details.
Remember you need to add your visit to either the studios one, two or events space calendar. Make sure you don't just add it to your own personal calendar - no one else finds out you are coming in and you have a wasted journey.
The above is a Monday to Saturday aim and for it to work we need people who are there when they say they will be there. Where they cannot attend they must arrange their own cover from the list of volunteers provided.
We can not have listeners tuning in and their being no presenter.
