Cue and Review Recording Service in the Dock ! - 12 Feb 2002

Live trials of the new Cue and Review Recording Service web site have begun. Alastair McPhee, founder and Managing Editor of the Bishopbriggs-based charity spoke today of the great pride he feels for the team of people that have been involved in getting the new site to this stage.
The volunteers who have written some of the profiles and presented/edited the various talking magazine samples that can be downloaded from the site, Colin Baird our IT Officer who has ensured that the audio is of a suitable quality to be downloaded at reasonable speeds, Stuart Roebuck, Sue McLeod and the team at Adolos web design who have been working for weeks to accommodate Alastair's demanding requirements and not forgetting Mike McIntyre and Silvio Clemente our E-comm 2001 consultant and Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire advisor.
Alastair did however want to reserve a special thank you to the Voluntary Issues Unit of the Scottish Executive who have funded the development of the site with a grant of £82,000 over two years. In thanking the former minister for Social Inclusion Jackie Baillie MSP, Alastair wanted to record the teams appreciation for the morale and financial boost that the grant from the Voluntary Issues Unit gave to our volunteers. He hoped that she and her successor Ian Gray MSP would feel that the grant had been well spent.
