logo saying Yes its FreeWhether you want to listen on cassette or as an mp3, we are able to offer you the platform that you are interested in. And even better its FREE

Subscribe to our Cassette Service

We used to charge 70p per week but with our re-launch we have gone back to the service being FREE to create interest both in our tape service but also to encourage people to work with the British Wireless Fund for the Blind and to listen to us on their Sonata Internet Radio service.  We now only offer a weekly tape from the Herald Scotland and Evening Times along with a tape of Inside Soap and the Radio Times Scotland.  When you sign up to this service you receive one tape posted to you on a Tuesday of the Herald Scotland and a second posted out on a Friday with the Evening Times along with Inside Soap/Radio Times Scotland in the same wallet.

Listen to our Podcasts in Conjunction with the British Wireless for the Blind Fund

We have teamed up with the British Wireless for the Blind Fund. To provide our podcasts via The Sonata Internet Radio, their latest and most innovative product. While our service is FREE you may need to pay for the box and you should contact the BWBF for information.

By looking for Cue and Review under their publications section you will be taken to daily uploads of individual articles taken from both the Herald Scotland and Evening Times each day.  Dependant on volunteers we upload at the moment between 30 and 60 minutes worth of both titles each day Monday to Friday.

Listening choices are made by following the audible programme guide and pressing OK to select. Once set up, the unit can be operated by remote control and, because it is also wireless, it can be used anywhere around the home.  NB: A broadband internet connection is required.

Content: Radio Stations (local, national and international), Podcasts, Local Talking Newspapers, National Talking Newspapers and Magazines (A separate subscription is required for this service)  , Audio Books, Audio Programmes for visually impaired people, Newsletters and Audio Catalogues such as Argos and M&S
