All Smiles As New Copiers Go Online - 27 Apr 2004

Two of the fastcopying team at Cue and Review Recording Service were this week delighted to be able to try out the new fast copying facilities that have been funded by the Community Fund Scotland.
Jim Prentice (83) and Morag Lenihan were the first to try out the new fastcopying facilities that have finally arrived at the Bishopbriggs studios of Cue and Review Recording Service. Alastair McPhee Managing Editor said that after many attempts to secure the funds that were needed to purchase the ?17,000 of casssette duplicating equipment the team had finally been able to achieve its goal through the Community Fund Grant. The charities range of talking newspapers titles would now be able to be despatched much quicker to visually impaired people throughout the UK as a result of the new equipment.
Jim commented that the Evening Times talking newspaper that he helps send out could now be copied in half the time. He urged social work staff working with visually impaired people to contact Cue and Review on 0141-563-0306 to request an information tape for their clients
