Research Seminar on Sensory Impairment - 26 Feb 2003

People with a Sensory Impairment, Professionals who work with those that have a sensory impairment and those who work in the field of Addictions are invited to attend a seminar that will present the results of two pieces of research that have recently been completed within the Greater Glasgow NHS Board area.
The date of the seminar is Tuesday 11th March, 2003 and the time is 9.30am to 1pm.
The venue is: Boardrooms 1 and 2, Greater Glasgow NHS Board, Dalian House, 350 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow, G3 8YZ.
The programme is as follows:
9.30am - Welcome
9.35am - Introduction by Jac Ross, Addictions team manager within GGNHSB
9.45am - Drug and Alcohol Issues affecting those with a sensory impairment, presented by Nikki Bell, Director of FMR
10.45am - Coffee break
11.00am - Emergency Communication with the Deaf, presented by Alan Dorn of GGNHSB and Sinead Assenti of MRUK Ltd
12.00-1.00pm - Concluding remarks and lunch
