25,000 Information Fliers now distributed around Bishopbriggs and Robroyston - 29 May 2002
Safeway staff have been involved in ensuring that print really can speak to the blind.
Thanks to Andy Bennett of Safeway Bishopbriggs, our charity has tried to raise the awareness of our service. Kenwil Press produced 25,000 A5 leaflets that were distributed around Safeways' catchment area in recent weeks.
The fliers were designed to encourage people to sponsor our titles or take part in our training programmes, but have had limited success to date. We have had a couple of volunteer enquiries and one local lady has encouraged the staff in her call centre to sponsor 12 monthly editions of our SFX magazine. We are also hoping that her team will also become regular visitors to our Bishopbriggs Studios. At least everyone who has received the Safeway Savers leaflet will now have heard of Cue & Review Recording Service.
