Borders TN Audio News from the Scottish Borders

Lothiansound  is a weekly 90-minute audiotape of news and events read from the Evening News, and local free press. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, it is a recognised Scottish charity, run entirely by Volunteers and supplied free of charge to around 700 Listeners. Even the postage is free, thanks to the Post Office 'Articles for the Blind' arrangement.

Perth Talking News The Perth Talking Newspaper is a free 80 minute audio CD recording of local news and features, produced each fortnight. The News is available to all visually impaired people who live in the Perthshire area

Association of Scottish Talking Newspapers - (ASTN) helps people who cannot read newspapers and magazines, whether due to visual impairment or some disability, which makes reading a strain. To achieve this aim, ASTN offers help and guidance to the organisers of the Scottish Talking Newspapers.

Talking News Federation - The Talking News Federation (TNF) is made up of the majority of these local Talking Newspapers (TN) forming a body to take a long term view of the future, assist with present issues, and deal with issues such as Copyright, Articles for the Blind, and proposed items of legislation and consultation. The TNF Executive Committee only consists of local TN volunteers.

National Talking Newspapers and Magazines - providing national newspapers and magazines on audio tape, computer disk, e-mail, internet download and CD-ROM for visually impaired and disabled people who find reading a strain.
