Radio School
Bishopbriggs Media Centre is delighted to announce the launch of their new ‘Scottish Radio Training’ school.
This service will form the basis of Scotland’s first dedicated Radio Broadcasting tuition centre, with courses offered from complete Beginners through to Advanced level. The courses are highly practical, and feature a mix of lectures, workshops and one-to-one coaching.
Course units will be delivered by a team of experienced professionals, all of whom are acknowledged experts in the radio business. The team is led by Real Radio weekend presenter Brian Woolfson and Liam McCann from West FM/Bauer Radio Scotland, with additional areas of the courses being taught by a panel of guest tutors.
Alastair McPhee,
founder and Managing Director of the charity “Cue and Review – Print
Speaking to the Blind”, which owns the Bishopbriggs Media Centre,
said: “For 30 years we have worked with young unemployed people. This
change of strategy now recognises the high quality studios that we can
offer to the Scottish media community. I am delighted that new radio
trainees and professionals alike will benefit from this recent
investment”.
